Here's a quick little recap of last week's virtual session!
This client and I had worked together via a couple consecutive Designed in a Day Sessions before the holidays. We had a few details we wanted to wrap up in the primary bedroom—which we accomplished last week via a 1-Hour Virtual Session—and I thought to show you what we came up with here!
During our day sessions, we mainly focused on the living and dining rooms, but we had about 20 minutes remaining at the end of the sessions, and I was able to get a rough start on the primary bedroom.
Here are the first two designs we came up with:
Original Bedroom Designs Options 1 & 2
My client loved the green chair, ottoman, side table, lamps, and white dresser—so she went ahead and ordered those following our first sessions—but she wanted to find something a little more punchy for the bed, rug, and nightstands.
Her feedback on the rug was that it felt too light and tied in more with the first bed, which she wasn't a huge fan of.
She couldn't articulate exactly why she didn't like the nightstands, but that's totally fine, because sometimes we just know in our gut we don't like something!
She pulled a couple of beds between our meetings, which included the metal framed upholstered bed in the first of the following designs. The curved-frame velvet bed was one I found in a DWR catalog that arrived in the mail the same day as our session, and it felt like it was meant to be!
